Gary D. Rhoades, Director of the Center for the Study of Higher Education at the University of Arizona, will moderate a roundtable discussion on practical contributions of entrepreneurship in our community. Harry A. George, Managing General Partner of Solstice Capital, Richard T. Myers, Chair of the Arizona Board of Regents, and others will take part in the roundtable.

In addition to pitching their ideas to venture capital and mezzanine lenders, angel investors, corporate VCs, investment firms and private equity representatives, the 40 entrepreneurs and teams making pitches have four ways to win.
- Eller College of Management Award for Greatest Potential to Create Jobs – $2,500
- IdeaFunding Award for Best Pitch – $2,500
- Arizona Center for Innovation Award for Most Innovative – $2,500 and a three month service package
- Grand Champion Award – a five-minute presentation to the Desert Angels at 6 p.m.
