Entrepreneurship workshop Thursday

The 10th annual IdeaFunding workshop for entrepreneurship will be held 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at the Manning House, 450 W. Paseo Redondo.

This year’s workshop focuses on five key elements of idea generation: Where ideas come from; avoiding the detours to your eventual market; intellectual property; building a successful team; and strong partnerships and funding for ideas.

This year’s events will include a luncheon address from University of Arizona President Robert Shelton and the announcement and presentation of the Thomas R. Brown Entrepreneurship Award.
